ON TO HIGH SCHOOL - Earl Shaffer, director of occupation education for the Ann Arbor public schools, was the guest speaker at the Scarlett Middle School eighth grade graduation Wednesday. Shaffer, a former Ann Arbor middle school teacher, encouraged graduates for explore different interests and to do what they enjoy.
