NEW, LOW-COST HOUSING: Replacing the strings of rundown rental units in Willow Village are new, low-cost, privately-owned homes. The houses are available to Village residents on long-term mortgages, made available under provisions of section 221 of the National Housing Act. The houses sell for less than $10,000 and leave finishing of floors, painting of walls and other interior work to be done by the new owners.
