WARM SLEEPING ASSURED: More than 400 Washtenaw county participants in the Triple 'A' cotton mattress making program have gone through or will go through scenes similar to the ones pictured here as they learn the "hows" and "whys" of constructing a mattress. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Blumhardt are putting the final touches on a nearly-constructed mattress in Bridgewater town hall. When the mattress is completed the roll which Mrs. Blumhardt is working on will be more prominent. Mr. Blumhardt, who heads the Triple 'A' program in the county, is chairman of the mattress making project.
