CHAMPION ADMIRES HIS WATCH - Merlin Hahn, Ann Arbor's Soap Box champion, appears to be well pleased with his gold wrist watch he received at the All-American Derby at Akron yesterday. Under his arm is tucked the steel crash helmet he wore yesterday at Akron when he won his first heat and was eliminated in the quarter-finals. Had he been favored by the luck of the draw, he might have gone through to the finals, as his car was one of the fastest at Derby Downs. (Detailed story on page 3.)
