DERBY DRIVERS INSPECT RIVAL'S CAR: When the pilots in the Soap Box Derby gathered at headquarters this morning for the official weighing-in ceremonies, they spent considerable time looking over the cars against which they will race at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in the third annual Ann Arbor News-Chevrolet Derby.
Seven of the drivers are shown above looking over the car which Raymond Fogg will drive in tomorrow's race. Fogg is one of the race favorites. He was runner-up to Merlin Hahn, the champion, in the finals of Class A last year and reached the semifinals in 1936. His stream-lined 1938 entry looks fast - even to the boys who know a lot about Soap Box Derby cars.
