Boys entered in the fifth annual Ann Arbor Soap Box Derby to be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon on Broadway Hill, reported at Derby headquarters this morning for the official inspection and weighing-in of their cars.
Seated in his well-built little racer above is Jack Schilling, 1641 Fulmer St., who, as a 12-year-old boy, will compete in Class B.
George Crandall, --, shown at the left, was Class B. champion last year and runner-up for the city title. Crandall, who lives at 220 Ann St., is shown with his car in which he will seek to repeat in Class B. tomorrow. At the right is Edward Gillespie, --, 229 Crest Ave., who also is a Class B. competitor.
