"This Is Eight Feet?": John F. Burg, Pinckney, measures the height of a section of the south fence at the Edwin S. George Wildlife Reserve. Burg, an industrial-arts teacher at Pinckney High School, is using an enlarged ruler "borrowed" from his classroom. He claims the University of Michigan is in technical violation of Michigan game laws because the fence is less than eight feet high.
