They Like Michigan: Linda Chamberlain (left) and Chris Kokinakes (right), pupils in Mrs. Jo Ann Budzik's second grade room at Eberwhite School, point to stories they and their classmates wrote about why they like Michigan. Linda likes Michigan "because of the beautiful trees and the birds that make nests in them." Reasons why Chris likes the state are "Because of all four seasons, the birds, the trees, the flowers, the lakes, the football stadium and the University of Michigan."
