PROPOSED JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL: This is a model of the proposed 1,000-pupil northwest junior high school that will be built at Newport and Sunset Rds. if voters approve a bond issues at a special election March 31. The model shows ground contours that make single story bi-level construction more economical because of savings in site development. The two parts of the building are joined together by enclosed ramps (center of picture) which will facilitate the easy movement of handicapped children. Total cost of the project is estimated at $2,500,000. Construction costs alone are $1,875,000.
