LIFE-SAVING: Eight and ninth grade boys at Tappan [Forsythe] Junior High School practice life-saving skills in the school pool under the direction of John Armstrong, physical education teacher. The class is held after school on Mondays and Wednesdays for eight weeks and those who pass receive Red Cross Junior Life-Saving badges.
