THEIR FIRST TRAIN RIDE: Twenty-five first grade youngsters from Tappan school purchased their tickets and boarded the Michigan Central train for a ride yesterday to Ypsilanti. It was the first train ride for most of the children. The trip took on all the aspects of a longer journey with parents gathering to wish the children a pleasant ride and to present the teacher, Miss Doris Ross with candy and flowers. They were photographed as they started the trip.
