A helping hand is always extended to those seeking assistance - material or spiritual - at the Salvation Army citadel.
Adjt. Ernest Alder, local Army leader, is shown in the above photograph inquiring as to the needs of a family which has called at the citadel.
Whether the need is spiritual or material, all who apply for aid will find a ready response from the Army in its endeavor to alleviate suffering and privation in the lives of the underprivileged.
Character building classes, recreational activities, religious training for those without church affiliations, as well as local and transient relief, and numerous other activities are all part of the Salvation Army program.
These services are made possible through Community Fund contributions.
