"Miss Margaret Rouse [right] and her sister, Janet, will sail next month for France with their mother, Mrs. Louis J. Rouse of Michigan Ave. to be away a year. Margaret will be at Nevers, teaching and studying at the Ecole Normale there, and Janet will study at a girls' school at Versailles." (Ann Arbor News, August 11, 1939)
