"U" OPERA AUTHORS GIVEN $100: Jack Silcott, left, a University graduate student from Pine Boulder, Colo., who is general chairman of the 1940 Michigan Union Opera, is shown with Charles Zolla, next to him, a junior student, and Aleck Block, a University graduate, the co-authors of the script for this year's opera, "Take a Number." The authors, both Detroiters, jointly received a check for $100 from Mimes, University dramatic society, for the script.
