THEIR FAMILIES WERE PIONEERS: Bert Kenny, 90, of 6510 Webster Church Rd. (left) and William Scadin, 80, of 5566 Webster Church Rd. are grandsons of pioneers, who settled in Webster township in 1828. Scadin now owns and lives on the 160-acre farm which his grandfather, Henry, settled four years after the township was first opened up. Kenny's grandfather, Munnis, was on the Washtenaw Board of Supervisors in 1839-40, the same board that Kenny served on for 10 years starting in 1897.
