WINNER RECEIVES AWARD: Betty Hayden, of Ypsilanti's Roosevelt High School, receives two tickets for an expense-paid seven-day Great Lakes cruise, the prize for winning the Southeastern Michigan "Know Michigan Tourist Week" essay contest. Mrs. M. L. Fletcher, representing the Southeastern Michigan Tourist and Publicity Association, is pictured making the presentation at a noon meeting of the Ypsilanti Kiwanis Club in the Huron Hotel yesterday. Miss Hayden also won the girl's division of the Washtenaw contest.
