ANN ARBOR BOY WINS AT YPSILANTI: Alfred White, 15-year-old boy living at 906 Packard St. of this city, yesterday won a coasting race held under the auspices of the American Legion at Ypsilanti. He plans to enter the car, in which he is shown above, in the Ann Arbor Soap Box Derby to be held July 27. The final at Ypsilanti yesterday was an all-Ann Arbor affair as White beat out George Crandall, local Class B champion of last year, by a narrow margin in a very close final race. Crandall will be seeking revenge from White in the Ann Arbor race.
