Pointing out that his 11th birthday falls on Mother's Day, Stephen Fahan Andre of 1605 S. University Ave. said in his letter in the "Mother of the Year" contest, "My Dad's dead, but he said, "Take care of her, because she's the best." Stephen added, "She is. I will." His mother is Mrs. Herbert F. (Nancy) Andre.
