Award Made: Col. Homer Thomas, Michigan Sector commander of the Sixth U. S. Army Corps, presents a Bronze Star Medal with a "V" device for heroism to Mrs. Fred Woolfenden of 2020 Ferdon Rd., the mother of an Ann Arbor GI who was killed in Viet Nam last November. The medal was awarded posthumously to 22-year-old Pfc. Donald B. Roddy (left). The presentation was made in ceremonies Saturday at the local Army Reserve Center.
