Prior to their induction into the U.S. Army in Detroit today, six local men are extended the "warm wishes and heartfelt gratitude of the Ann Arbor community" by American Legion Post 46 Cmdr. George Harms (left). The inductees (from Harms' left) are Philip Marshall, Fred Dittmer, James Kulbicki, Steven Schwartz, Simon Horgrow, Nicholas Mekas.
