SCHOOL LABOR GETS THE SPUDS HARVESTED: Some 50 boys from Ypsilanti Central High school and Woodruff Junior High in Ypsilanti took vacation from class work yesterday to help Lawrence A. Diehr, Ellsworth Rd. farmer, harvest 11 acres of potatoes. Farther back can be seen the tractor used in the digging the potatoes which would still be unharvested had it not been for the schoolboys' aid. Farmer Diehr said the youths were willing and good workers. One boy picked up 17 bushels of potatoes during the afternoon.
