Native German Helps Fight Nazis!
Erwin K. Brindle, 538 S. Ashley street, worker at Cook Plant division of Associated Springs Corp. (at right), is shown purchasing a $1,000 War Bond and a $100 Bond from Emil Zill, his foreman. This $1,100 buy is in addition to his regular 10 per cent payroll deduction purchases. Mr. Brindle was born in Germany and lived there during the first World War. He has been a resident of the United States 18 years and is a naturalized citizen. He began working at the Cook plant last May.
