Mark won one of the five first place, $5,000 cash prizes offered by Apple Computer Co. as part of a nationwide scholarship promotion. Mark registered for the drawing at the Learning Center, a computer retailer in Ann Arbor. In addition to the cash, he won the computer and educational software for the school. Principal Vaughn Filsinger, standing beside Mark, said he welcomes the addition to the school's 'fleet' of 16 Apple IIe computers. 'Our goal is to someday have a computer in every classroom,' Filsinger said.
