Once a self described 'white-knuckled passenger,' Allene Sonntag learned to fly, tested her mettle flying solo to California two summers ago and set a goal of seeing Mt. McKinley by air last summer. She and companion Susan Clark made the trip successfully but not without some anxious moments.
