Honored - Members of the Ypsilanti Housing Commission staff and city officials honored Eugene C. Beatty Wednesday afternoon at the Grainery Restaurant for serving as commission president for the past 10 years. He was also feted for his birthday which is Friday. His wife, Evelyn, left, appears amused about something while her husband addresses the gathering.
