ART AT ABBOT - The third annual Abbot Elementary School "Artists and Accents" art fair is coming up on Saturday, and on Monday some of the 30 professional artists who will display their work at the show came to the school to show students how artists work. Watching intently as artist Penny Tashnick makes enameled earrings are Abbot students (standing, from left) Ian Youngstrom and James Gallic, and (seated, from left) Robbie Behrens, Kathy Guyer and Kim McCarter. The art fair will be held at Abbot from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. In addition to the professional artists, junior and senior high school artists will also have an opportunity to show and sell their works. Food also will be on sale, and there will be a parents' boutique.
