Order in the Court: The judge may have trouble seeing over her desk, and the jury may be a bit too relaxed, but a mock trial at City Hall is just the thing to help fourth-graders learn the workings of the legal system. Students from Zerilda Palmer's class at Northside Elementary School in Ann Arbor were shown around City Hall as part of their studies of city government. They saw the police station, city offices and Judge S. J. Elden's courtroom, where they acted out the parts of judge and jury.
