Yes, you can see the Sugar Bowl up the street which was on the east side of Main St. just south of Huron. So this photo is on the west side of Main St, just south of the corner of Washington and Main, looking north. This is the corner that most recently was Mongolian BBQ and at the time of the photo was Kresge's (the K in K-mart). Thanks for asking!
