Oscar S. Holmlund, 43 years old, 317 Braun Ct., a native of Sweden who had lived in Ann Arbor for about 15 years, died in St. Joseph's Mercy hospital yesterday following a lingering illness.

Mr. Holmlund previously lived in Minnesota, after coming to the United States, and spent one year in Florida. No surviving relatives have been located.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Hildinger funeral home, with Rev. Howard C. Busching officiating. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery. Friends may call at the Hildinger funeral home.
