Miss Ann Vanderpool, police woman and clerk in the city police department's traffic and record bureau, will be in charge of the bureau, beginning Friday, Chief Sherman H. Mortenson announced today.
Naming of Miss Vanderpool to head the bureau follows announcement of the promotion of Officer Robert Mayfield, who joined the department Nov. 1, 1939, to the rank of sergeant.
