Carl W. Braun, 54 years old, of 4090 Whitmore Lake Rd., died yesterday afternoon at St. Joseph's Mercy hospital after several weeks of illness. He was born in Ann Arbor township on June 27, 1889, and has been a lifelong Washtenaw resident.
On Nov. 26, 1925, he married Hilda E. Fiegel. Mr. Braun was a member of the Zion Lutheran church and of the church Brotherhood. He had served as a director on the Braun school board for six years.
Survivors include the wife, his mother, Mrs. Mary D. Braun, Ann Arbor township; two sons, Charles and David Braun, at home; a brother, Simon W. Braun, York township, and a sister, Miss Sylvia Braun, Ann Arbor township.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Satruday afternoon at the Muehlig chapel. Rev. E. C. Stellhorn will officiate and burial will be in Bethlehem cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
