Mrs. John M. Feiner, lifelong Ann Arbor resident, died at St. Joseph's hospital yesterday afternoon following several months of ill health precipitated by a fall in her home at 113 W. William St. which resulted in a broken hip.
She was the daughter of John and Mary Trahey O'Keefe who came to Ann Arbor from Ireland more than 75 years ago.
Mrs. Feiner's death parts one of Ann Arbor's longest-married couples. The Feiners quietly celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary last Sept. 2.
During their early married years the Feiners lived on N. Fourth Ave. Fifty-two years ago they moved to 117 W. William St. where Mr. Feiner began operation of the Feiner Glass & Paint Co. which is still under his direction but is now located at 216 W. William St. The Feiners moved to 113 W. William St. some years ago.
Mrs Feiner was a member of St. Thomas Catholic church and was affiliated with the Sodalis Circle and the auxiliaries of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion chapters here.
She is survived by Mr. Feiner, two sons, Walter and Carl Feiner, both of Ann Arbor; a daughter, Mrs. J. J. McDermott, St. Joseph; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Brisbois, Seattle, Wash.; 10 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Muehlig chapel at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel where the Rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock tonight.
