Co-Operative Society Names Nine Directors
The Ann Arbor Co-Operative society named nine members to its board of directors at the society’s annual meeting last night in the YMCA.
Those elected or re-elected were Redmond M. Burr, Ralph W. McPhee, Claude V. Winder, C. Raymond Huntwork, William A. Kemnitz, jr., Prof. Vincent A. Scanio, Prof. Robert M. Thrall, Prof. Paul S. Dwyer and Prof. Wayne L. Whitaker.
The society voted to use its 1945 surplus for retirement of bonds, and approved plans for modernization of its store. Plans were discussed for expansion of facilities, including installation of refrigerated food lockers.
According to a report made at the meeting, the society now has 463 family memberships.
