Cpl. Stanley A. Reese, son of Herbert S. Reese of Lexington Ave., was among the 60 Michigan Army combat veterans who landed in San Francisco Tuesday under the Army's rotation system.
Cpl. Reese was awarded the Bronze Star medal in April, 1951, for his part with military operations in the vicinity of Kamaji, Korea. He was also wounded during the earlier fighting in Korea.
