UF Agency Loses Granville

The resignation of Richard B. Granville, director of the Bureau of Community Services of the United Fund, was announced today.

Granville, who lives at 2115 N. Circle Dr., has been director of the bureau since October, 1958. He will terminate his duties, which he has given up for personal reasons, on April 24.

Robert B. Kerschbaum, executive secretary of the United Fund, said that he regrets Granville’s leaving. "We have had a fine relationship,” Kerschbaum said.

Jack Hogan, UF president, said that he is sorry that Granville has felt it necessary to leave, and that his loss will be deeply felt in the organization. “We will make every effort to secure a competent replacement,” Hogan added.

A new director has not been named.
