Age 51, died Thursday, March 30, 1967, in St. Joseph Mercy Hospital after a long illness. Born May 31, 1915, in Ann Arbor, she had lived here all of her life, was a member of Bethel AME Church and had been employed as an elevator operator in the Ann Arbor Trust Building for several years. She is survived by her son, Fred Adams of Ypsilanti; four grandchildren; two nieces, Mrs. Ruth Spann of Ann Arbor and Mrs. Lora Johnson of Indianapolis, Ind.; a nephew, Emerson Adams of Ann Arbor, and an aunt, Mrs. Lettie Harbend, also of Ann Arbor. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 3 from the Bethel AME Church with the Rev. John A. Woods officiating. Burial to be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call at the Staffan Funeral Home after 7 p.m. this evening.
