Yost, Mrs. Eunice Fite

Age 94, passed away Thursday, January 9, 1975 in Huron View Lodge. Born October 3, 1880 in Nashville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Leonard B. and Eunice Williams Fite. A resident of Ann Arbor since 1921, she was married to Fielding H. Yost in 1906; he preceded her in death on August 20, 1946. Mrs. Yost was a member of the First United Methodist Church; D.A.R., Colonial Dames; Coaches Wives Association; Womens City Club and the Garden Club. She was also a Patroness of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. Survivors include: one son, Fielding H. Yost, Jr. of Midland, Michigan; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, January 11, 1975 at Muehlig Chapel with Dr. Donald Strobe officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home between 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Athletics Department, University of Michigan, c/o Don Canham, 1000 South State, Ann Arbor.
