Age 77, passed away Tuesday at Scottsdale Memorial Hospital in Scottsdale, Ariz. following a brief illness. She was born Jan. 2, 1898 in St. Mary's, West Virginia the daughter of Elwood and Rosa Williams Carmichael. Mrs. Jacobs had been an Ann Arbor resident the past 45 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the WSCS of the church, past president of the WSCS, a member of Kings Daughters and the Women's Club of Ann Arbor. Mrs. Jacobs was a former cashier at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. Survivors include: one son, William E. Jacobs of Scottsdale, Ariz.; one daughter, Mrs. Marilyn McDonald of Denver, Colo.; three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marjorie L. Bolgos on Nov. 30, 1971. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Muehlig Chapel. Burial will follow in Arborcrest Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
