Age 17, died early Saturday, November 8, 1980, as the result of an automobile accident near Alpena. She was born July 20, 1963 in Ann Arbor, the daughter of David E. and Barbara A. Hartman Miller. Shelly was a lifelong resident of Ann Arbor. She was a student at Ann Arbor Pioneer High School and Community High School and was a part time employee at Bill Knapps Restaurant. Survivors include: her parents, two sisters, Susan and Kristen Miller of Ann Arbor; her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Alex (Cathy) Wares of Ann Arbor; her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Pauline M. Miller of Grass Lake; several aunts, uncles, cousins also survive. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Muehlig Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Howard T. Cole officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the Muehlig Chapel from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
