Marion Cranmore, retired director of elementary education for the Ann Arbor school district, and David Aberdeen, Burns Park principal, trade smiles during ceremonies Sunday at the school that renamed the school's library in Cranmore's honor. Cranmore spent 22 years as principal at Burns Park before her appointment in 1975 as a central administrator. She retired in Jan. 1980 after 41 years with the school district.
