Drawing for Kids | 3-D Paint Splatters on AADL.TV

This month, Payton will demonstrate how to create realistic paint splatters using a variety of different drawing techniques. Students will learn the basics of value, depth and shading to create their drawing.  For this class, you'll need a sheet of drawing paper, pencil and eraser, and colored pencils.

In this lesson, explore and experiment with a variety of ways to use mark-making to elevate your drawings. For this activity, you will need a sheet of paper, a pencil, eraser, and assortment of black ink pens.

Join Payton and learn how to work with a monochromatic watercolor palette while painting trees from the perspective of someone looking up at them. For this activity, you will need a sheet of watercolor or multimedia paper, a set of watercolor paints, brushes, a cup of water, a pencil, eraser, a ruler, and paper towel or a rag.
