COMMUNITY REVIEWS

One of Simon’s best submitted by spostjacobs on August 26, 2018, 11:39pm While _Graceland_ deservedly is the most acclaimed of Paul Simon’s albums, _Rhythm of the Saints_ is also an incredible recording. Simon collaborated with many Brazilian musicians, along with some of the South African musicians featured on _Graceland_. The result is a rich layering of many musical traditions. Especially worth listening to are: the drum sections of “The Obvious Child” and the quiet loveliness of “Spirit Voices.” “The Coast” is one of my favorite songs.

The Rhythm of the Saints submitted by Varshini on July 16, 2019, 1:07pm Great music from Paul SImon.

Simon does it again..... submitted by kencza on July 19, 2020, 4:21pm Paul Simon continues with his Worldbeat sound, this time adding some Latin rhythm and a different style of harmonies. The slower tempo and atmospheric flow on Rhythm of the Saints differs a bit from "Graceland" but the overall product has a lot of the same performers and similar sound. Another triumph....
