Nuts submitted by tarascon on July 12, 2023, 2:47pm Fun lunatic gore fest. An over-the-top, surreal violence saturated (and I stress “saturated”) adaptation of an anti-violence manga. Not for the squeamish and most definitely not for kids.

For myself, its greatest contribution to cinema was that it put Tadanobu Asano on the map. To appreciate Asano’s acting chops check out “The Taste of Tea” or the brilliant Thai film “Last Life in the Universe.”
