Close look at anxiety submitted by Lucy S on June 16, 2017, 3:16pm For anyone who has suffered from anxiety or is close to some who does, much of this book will seem very familiar. Petersen gives an honest account of the panic attacks that began as a sophomore at the University of Michigan. She was eventually diagnosed with several different anxiety disorders.

This books chronicles anxiety on a very personal level but also takes us through myriad treatments, both past, and present, as well as physiology and genetics of anxiety disorders.

An enlightening and important read.
