Haunted Tree
One Sunday afternoon, Ginni and her dad decided to go walking in the woods. Their neighbor Sam had warned them about a haunted tree and suggested they do not go to that trail.
GinniÕs dad, Komal, is a very adventurous man who did not believe in haunted mysteries. He wanted to discover the plot behind that and took Ginni along with her to the trail.
After walking a couple of hours, they both decided to rest.
To their surprise, they found a huge maple tree with several skeletons hanging on it. There was another tree a few feet away with a bedspread under it, welcoming them to take a nap. Komal knew that this was some kind of a trap.
So, he pretended to fall asleep and waiting for an attack. Suddenly, there was a muffled haul and voice asking them to leave all their money, otherwise, the tree was going to eat them up. Ginni woke up with a shock and dad got curious about the voice, but did not act. The voice repeated again. GinniÕs dad looked around and found nobody. Then, he decided to set some fire around the tree and arranged some wood and started lighting it up. After some time, the smoke raised and the tree started coughing.
GinniÕs dad started to smile and waiting for the mystery to be revealed. Suddenly a man came out from the tree trunk hole and he kept on coughing. GinniÕs dad quickly held the man by his arms from behind and asked Ginni to find a string to tie them together. They finally managed to get this selfisish man busted and called the cops. The cops found a huge chest with money inside the tree and that was the money this man stole hiding inside the trunk and pretending to be a ghost tree.
Ginni was very proud about her dad and his feat. Sam and all their neighbors started to look up to Komal ever after.
