October 16, 1991. "Standing Outside with the People of Nicaragua." Leticia Diaz, poet and M.C. of the Fiesta outside the Michigan League, is part of ICPJ's "call to compassion" in response to the Managua Cathedral Fundraiser to raise $3.5 million for a cathedral when Managuans have no health care, water, etc.
