Learn the basics of video game creation with the online program Scratch! Just because it's fun and easy, doesn't mean it's just for kids (but they will love it, too). Build up code by dragging blocks and fitting them together. Choose your sprite and animate it. Then pick some music and sound effects. Best of all, there's nothing to download and you can run your game in your browser.
