A conversation with illustrator Isabel Clare Paul and historian Tim Retzloff, who teamed up to create the comic “Come Out! In Detroit,” in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Christopher Street Detroit ’72, the first LGBTQ+ pride celebration in Michigan. Free copies of the comic book will be available for all who attend.

Historian Tim Retzloff and artist Isabel Clare Paul will describe their collaboration on a comic book to commemorate the event.

A limited number of free copies of "Come Out! in Detroit" will be available at the circulation desks at Westgate Branch and the Downtown Library through Saturday, September 17th.

This event was previously titled "Motor City Pride: 50 Years of LGBT Activism."
