Description
Corrado Parducci came to Detroit in 1924 and for over half a century produced architectural sculpture applied to buildings throughout Metro Detroit and the United States.
Join author, photographer and architectural historian Dale A. Carlson as he recounts details of Parducci's early life and a dozen commissions right here in Ann Arbor, created for the firms of Donaldson & Meier, George D. Mason, Smith, Hinchman & Grylls and the great Albert Kahn. A handful of his best works in Detroit and the outer United States rounds out an engaging presentation filled with stellar photography and compelling historical images.
Dale A. Carlson is the author of Corrado Parducci: A Field Guide to Detroit’s Architectural Sculptor.
