Two Ann Arbor food events will help thaw the January chill

The bleak midwinter is here, and there's only one way to cope:
Eat.
A lot.
Two upcoming foodie events in Ann Arbor will offer the succor your brain (and tummy) needs to get through this season.
Ann Arbor Restaurant Week returns January 18–23, with more than 40 restaurants participating with special prix fixe menus and exclusive offerings. The prix fixe lunch menus start at $15, dinner menus at $28, and à la carte offerings beginning at $6.
The specific offerings for each restaurant are at annarborrestaurantweek.com soon, and the participating businesses include:
Avalon Cafe + Kitchen, Aventura, Black Pearl, Bløm, Blue LLama Jazz Club & Restaurant, Bori Korean Kitchen & Bar, Chapala, Conor O'Neill's, Detroit Pizza Pub, Dixboro House, Gandy Dancer, Grizzly Peak Brewing Co., Heidelberg, HopCat Ann Arbor, Jolly Pumpkin Cafe & Brewery, Le Bon Macaron, mama satto, Mani Osteria, Mediterrano, Pacific Rim Restaurant, Peridot, Plate Sushi & Chicken, Pretzel Bell, Real Seafood Co., Saigon Kitchen & Bar, Sava's Ann Arbor, Seoulgarden, Seva Restaurant, TAQ - Taqueria Restaurant & Bar, The Earle Restaurant, The Habitat / Weber's Restaurant, The Last Word, The seoul, Venue by 4M, Vinology, and Zingerman's Roadhouse.
The sister venue of the last eatery on the restaurant list is teaming up with another local institution for a food event, too.
Kerrytown Concert House and Zingerman’s Deli have created the "Melodies & Morsels" series, which will feature three geography-led menus and music outings.
The three concerts at Kerrytown Concert House will offer a tasting box, guided by Zingerman’s Delicatessen’s food mongers, with complimentary wines from the music venue's cellar.
